How We're Helping?

As you can imagine, providing clean water to over one million people in Africa is no easy feat. So that’s why we teamed up with The One Foundation to help turn this dream into a reality.

The One Foundation are a registered charity who’ve been busy working alongside PlayPumps® International to help provide and install revolutionary PlayPump® Water Systems in Africa.

So where do we come in? Well, as well as being the first retailer to launch our own brand ethical water, we’re donating 5p from every bottle of The Co-operative Fairbourne Springs mineral water sold to help fund these incredible PlayPumps®. Money from every bottle of One Water you buy in a Co-operative store will also go towards the fund too.

By 2010, we hope to raise enough money to fund 400 PlayPumps® – meaning over 1 million people in Africa will have local access to fresh, clean water for the very first time.
